The Independent Directors on the Board of Jindal Stainless Ltd visited the Company’s plant at Jajpur , Odisha on 20-21 Feb , 2025 ( The Company has another plant at Hisar). The products of the Company , India’s largest stainless steel manufacturer, are used from razor blades to Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission , from Vande Bharat sleeper coaches to kitchenware , and many other industries like manufacturing, food processing, medicine, and others. We toured the fully integrated state of the art eco – friendly plant and saw the manufacturing process. We also saw the floating solar plant installed on the water reservoir – a great initiative which avoids land-energy conflict , reduces algae growth , saves water , and improves efficiency. We interacted with the Corporate and Plant Management who went out of their way to make the visit productive and comfortable.
